Supply Teacher – Secondary School – Eastleigh, Hampshire
Start Date: Immediate | Contract Type: Full-Time, Adhoc basis
Salary: £90 – £140 per day (Depending on experience)

If so, GSL Education are seeking motivated Supply Teachers to support secondary mainstream schools in Eastleigh on a full-time, adhoc basis starting immediately. This role is ideal for teachers seeking flexible work or students keen to gain valuable experience in the education sector.
In this role, you will deliver lessons in the absence of the regular teacher, ensuring students remain engaged and learning continues smoothly. You will work closely with school staff to maintain a positive and productive classroom environment.
As a Supply Teacher, your responsibilities will be:
- Teach and supervise classes following provided lesson plans
- Engage students and maintain a focused learning environment
- Manage student behaviour and promote a safe classroom
- Support pupils individually or in small groups as needed
- Provide feedback on pupil engagement and progress
- Ensure continuity of learning during staff absences
- Uphold school policies and procedures
- Work collaboratively with teaching and support staff
Supply Teacher Requirements:
- UK teaching qualifications such as QTS, PGCE or equivalent is desirable but not mandatory.
- Experience in secondary schools or other educational settings as a Supply Teacher or similar is desirable
- Flexible, reliable, and confident in a classroom setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to safeguarding and child welfare
- Enhanced DBS registered on the update service, or willingness to apply via GSL Education
