Design Technology Teacher
Location: York, North Yorkshire
Start Date: ASAP
Salary: £130 - £170 per day
GSL Education are seeking a passionate and inspiring Design Technology Teacher to work at a Client Secondary School in York, starting as soon as possible.
Design Technology Teacher Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons in Design and Technology.
- Contribute to the development of schemes of work and resources in line with the national curriculum and department goals.
- Support and inspire students of all abilities.
- Use a range of assessment strategies to monitor student progress.
- Ensure high standards of classroom management.
Design Technology Teacher Requirements:
- A recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
- A degree in a relevant subject area.
- Strong subject knowledge across a range of Design Technology disciplines.
- Ability to inspire, challenge, and motivate students with engaging lessons .
- A collaborative, reflective approach with a commitment to continuous improvement.
- Hold an Enhanced DBS registered to the update service or be willing to apply for a new one with GSL Education.
