Pay Rate: £155 – £220 per day (depending on experience)

GSL Education are currently seeking a dedicated History Teacher to join a school in Bawtry (DN10). This role provides an excellent opportunity to deliver engaging lessons, support pupil progress, and foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Role Overview:
As a History Teacher, you will plan and deliver lessons that encourage pupils to explore historical events, develop critical thinking skills, and understand the relevance of history to the modern world. You will also support extracurricular activities and enrichment opportunities where appropriate.
As a History Teacher, you will:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging History lessons across various age groups.
- Inspire pupils to develop critical thinking, research, and analytical skills.
- Assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain a safe, structured, and inclusive learning environment.
- Support extracurricular history-related activities, trips, or clubs.
- Uphold high standards of safeguarding and pupil welfare.
Requirements for History Teacher:
- UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent is mandatory.
- Experience teaching History across school setting.
- Strong knowledge of the History curriculum and teaching strategies.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and classroom management skills.
- An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
- A full CV covering the last 10 years, with explanations for any gaps.
