Pay Rate: £155 – £220 per day (depending on experience)

GSL Education are currently seeking a dedicated Computer Science Teacher to join a school in Sheffield (S17). This is an excellent opportunity to deliver high-quality lessons, support pupil progress, and foster a positive and engaging learning environment.
Role Overview:
As a Computer Science Teacher, you will plan and deliver lessons across key stages, helping pupils to build technical skills, computational thinking, and confidence in their understanding of digital technologies. You will also encourage curiosity and creativity in problem-solving and coding projects.
As a Computer Science Teacher, you will:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Computer Science lessons across various age groups.
- Promote digital literacy, problem-solving, and computational thinking.
- Assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Manage classroom behaviour to maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Support extracurricular technology or coding clubs, where applicable.
- Uphold high standards of safeguarding and pupil welfare.
Requirements for Computer Science Teacher:
- UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent is essential.
- Experience teaching Computer Science at school level.
- Strong knowledge of programming, algorithms, and computing curriculum.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and classroom management skills.
- An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
- A full CV covering the last 10 years, with explanations for any gaps.
