Teaching Assistant
Location: Sheffield
Salary: £83 - £95 per day (Depending on Experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long Term, Full-time / Part-time

GSL Education are looking for dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to join schools across Sheffield.
About the Role:
As a Teaching Assistant (TA), you will support teachers and pupils within the classroom environment, ensuring every child has the opportunity to achieve their full potential. You will work with individuals and small groups, provide tailored support, and contribute to creating a safe and inclusive learning atmosphere.
Teaching Assistant Responsibilities:
- Assist the class teacher in preparing and delivering engaging lessons.
- Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils, helping them progress in their learning.
- Support children across EYFS, KS1, and KS2 with their academic and social development.
- Foster positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
- Encourage independence, confidence, and a love for learning.
- Maintain a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment.
Requirements for Teaching Assistant (TA):
- Experience working with children in an educational setting is desirable.
- CACHE Level 2/3, NVQ Level 2/3 in Childcare or Teaching Assistance, or equivalent qualifications are preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt to different age groups and learning needs.
- A clear understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply via GSL Education.
