Salary: £140 – £190 per day (depending on experience)

Are you an enthusiastic Design & Technology Teacher with a passion for inspiring young minds? GSL Education is seeking a committed and dynamic DT Teacher to join secondary schools in Doncaster. This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) to make a real impact, helping students develop practical skills and creative confidence.
About the Role:
As a DT Teacher, you will deliver engaging and well-structured lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. You will nurture students’ curiosity, encourage innovative thinking, and ensure that pupils of all abilities are supported and challenged to achieve their best.
Key Responsibilities:

Teach a range of DT subjects such as Resistant Materials, Graphics, Product Design, or Food Technology (depending on your specialism).

Plan and deliver creative lessons in line with the national curriculum.

Prepare students for assessments and external examinations.

Maintain excellent standards of behaviour and classroom management.

Contribute to departmental planning, curriculum design, and wider school life.
Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.

Specialism in Design & Technology or a related subject.

Experience teaching DT at secondary school level (GCSE desirable).

Strong subject knowledge and ability to inspire creativity.

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).

A full 10-year career history with recent references.
