Job Title: Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)
Location: Cleethorpes
Rate: £98.94 – £114.84 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long-term, Part-time / Full-time
GSL Education are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our supportive team in Cleethorpes. Whether you're an experienced HLTA or an Early Career Teacher (ECT) looking to gain valuable classroom experience, this is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference across EYFS to KS2.
About the Role:
As a HLTA, you’ll play a key role in supporting teaching and learning across the primary age range. You’ll work closely with class teachers to deliver planned lessons, support small groups, and contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities of HLTA:
- Deliver pre-planned lessons and interventions across EYFS to KS2
- Support pupils in small groups and on a 1:1 basis
- Assist with classroom management and behaviour strategies
- Contribute to planning and assessment alongside teaching staff
- Foster a nurturing and inclusive atmosphere for all learners
Requirements:
- Experience working across EYFS to KS2
- HLTA qualification or equivalent (desirable)
- ECTs are welcome to apply
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- A passion for inclusive education and pupil development
