Pay Rate: £83 – £95 per day (depending on experience)

GSL Education are currently seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school in Chesterfield. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with children, supporting their academic, social, and emotional development in a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Role Overview:
As a TA, you will provide essential support to both teachers and pupils, helping to create an engaging and well-structured classroom environment. You may work with individuals or small groups of pupils to support their progress and ensure all children have access to learning.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Provide 1:1 or small group support to pupils.
- Assist teachers with planning, preparation, and classroom management.
- Support children’s learning, confidence, and independence.
- Help create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Promote positive behaviour and encourage pupil participation.
Requirements for Teaching Assistant:
- Previous experience in an educational setting or working with children (desirable).
- A patient, supportive, and proactive approach.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
- A full CV covering the last 10 years, with explanations for any gaps.
