Pay Rate: £83 – £95 per day (Depending on experience)

GSL Education are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school in Retford. This is a great opportunity for someone passionate about education and eager to make a positive difference in the lives of young learners.
Role Overview:
As a TA, you will provide support to teachers and pupils, ensuring children can access the curriculum and reach their full potential. You will assist with classroom activities, offer 1:1 or small group support, and help create a safe and engaging learning environment.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support pupils’ learning across a variety of subjects and age groups.
- Provide targeted 1:1 or small group support when required.
- Assist with classroom management and preparation of learning resources.
- Encourage pupil participation, confidence, and independence.
- Work collaboratively with teaching staff to promote a positive learning environment.
Requirements for Teaching Assistant:
- Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting (desirable).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A patient, supportive, and proactive approach.
- An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
- A full CV covering the last 10 years, with explanations for any gaps.
