Pay Rate: £95 – £120 per day (depending on experience)

GSL Education are currently recruiting a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school in Bentley. This role provides the opportunity to support pupils’ learning, development, and confidence while working as part of a passionate and committed team.
Role Overview:
As an SEN TA, you will work closely with pupils who require additional support, providing tailored assistance to help them access learning and thrive in the classroom. You will collaborate with teachers and SENCOs to create a positive, inclusive, and nurturing environment.
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEN.
- Assist teachers in adapting learning activities to meet individual needs.
- Encourage pupils’ participation, confidence, and independence.
- Support behaviour management strategies and promote a safe learning environment.
- Collaborate with teaching staff, SENCOs, and parents to monitor and support pupil progress.
Requirements for SEN Teaching Assistant:
- Experience supporting pupils with SEN or additional learning needs (desirable).
- A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
- A full CV covering the last 10 years, with explanations for any gaps.
