Job Title: Behaviour Mentor
Location: Bentley (DN5)
Pay Rate: £95 – £120 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are seeking a dedicated Behaviour Mentor to join a supportive school in Bentley. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children and young people who may display challenging behaviours, helping them to engage positively with learning.
Role Overview:
As a Behaviour Mentor, you will work closely with pupils on a one-to-one basis or in small groups, providing tailored support to help them manage their emotions, build confidence, and develop social skills. You will collaborate with teachers, parents, and pastoral teams to ensure each child is supported to succeed.
As a Behaviour Mentor, you will:
- Provide targeted support for pupils with behavioural, social, and emotional needs.
- Implement behaviour management strategies tailored to individual pupils.
- Act as a positive role model, encouraging resilience and self-motivation.
- Work with teachers and support staff to create a safe and inclusive learning environment.
- Build strong, supportive relationships with pupils to improve their engagement in school.
Requirements for Behaviour Mentor:
- Previous experience supporting children or young people with behavioural needs (school-based experience desirable).
- Strong behaviour management skills and a calm, empathetic approach.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
- A full CV covering the last 10 years, with explanations for any gaps.
