Job Title: SEMH Teacher
Location: Bentley (DN5)
Pay Rate: £150 – £250 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are currently seeking a dedicated SEMH Teacher to join a school in Bentley. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact, helping pupils overcome barriers to learning and achieve success in both their academic and personal development.
Role Overview:
As an SEMH Teacher, you will plan and deliver tailored lessons that meet the individual needs of pupils. You will create a safe, structured, and inclusive learning environment that supports both educational progress and emotional wellbeing.
As an SEMH Teacher, you will:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons adapted to the needs of pupils with SEMH.
- Build positive, trusting relationships to support emotional and behavioural development.
- Manage behaviour effectively using positive strategies.
- Monitor pupil progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Work closely with teaching assistants, SENCOs, and pastoral teams.
- Promote safeguarding and pupil welfare at all times.
Requirements for SEMH Teacher:
- UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
- Experience teaching pupils with SEMH, SEN, or behavioural needs (desirable).
- Strong behaviour management and interpersonal skills.
- A patient, empathetic, and resilient teaching style.
- An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
- A full CV covering the last 10 years, with explanations for any gaps.
