Pay Rate: £155 – £220 per day (depending on experience)

GSL Education are seeking a dedicated History Teacher to join a thriving school in Sheffield. This is a fantastic opportunity to bring history to life in the classroom, encourage curiosity, and support students in developing analytical and critical thinking skills.
Role Overview:
As a History Teacher, you will deliver engaging and thought-provoking lessons across Key Stages. You will guide pupils through key historical periods, foster debate and enquiry, and help them make meaningful connections between past and present.
As a History Teacher, you will:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality History lessons aligned with the curriculum.
- Inspire pupils to engage with historical sources, perspectives, and debates.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support achievement.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment through effective behaviour management.
- Contribute to the wider school community and extracurricular opportunities.
Requirements for History Teacher:
- UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching History at school level is desirable.
- Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for History.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and classroom management skills.
- An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
- A full CV covering the last 10 years, with explanations for any gaps.
