Job Title: Geography Teacher
Location: Sheffield – S10
Pay Rate: £155 – £220 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long-term | Full-time / Part-time

GSL Education are looking for a skilled Geography Teacher to join a school in Sheffield. This is an exciting opportunity to deliver engaging lessons, encourage curiosity about the world, and support pupils in developing strong geographical knowledge and critical thinking skills.

Role Overview:
As a Geography Teacher, you will deliver high-quality lessons across Key Stages. You will help students build an understanding of physical and human geography, develop map and fieldwork skills, and connect their learning to real-world contexts.

As a Geography Teacher, you will:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver creative and challenging lessons in line with the curriculum.
  • Inspire students to think critically about global, national, and local issues.
  • Assess, track, and support pupil progress through effective feedback.
  • Manage classroom behaviour to create a safe and productive environment.
  • Contribute to the wider school community and extracurricular activities.

Requirements for Geography Teacher:

  • UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching Geography at school level is desirable.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Geography.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and classroom management skills.
  • An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
  • A full CV covering the last 10 years, with explanations for any gaps.
