Pay Rate: £155 – £220 per day (depending on experience)

GSL Education are currently seeking a dedicated Computer Science Teacher to join a school in Sheffield. This role is a fantastic opportunity to deliver engaging lessons, foster digital literacy, and equip pupils with valuable skills for their future careers.
Role Overview:
As a Computer Science Teacher, you will deliver lessons across Key Stages, with the potential to teach depending on experience. You will inspire students to develop programming skills, understand computer systems, and explore the rapidly evolving world of technology.
As a Computer Science Teacher, you will:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Computer Science lessons.
- Teach programming, algorithms, data representation, and wider digital concepts.
- Encourage problem-solving, logical thinking, and creativity in pupils.
- Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively to create a positive learning environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues to support curriculum planning and enrichment activities.
- Uphold high standards of safeguarding and pupil welfare.
Requirements for Computer Science Teacher:
- UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching Computer Science at school level is desirable.
- Strong subject knowledge and awareness of the latest developments in technology.
- Excellent classroom management, communication, and organisational skills.
- An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
- A full CV covering the last 10 years, with explanations for any gaps.
