Job Title: Teaching Assistant (Day to Day)
Location: Armthorpe
Pay Rate: £83 – £95 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day

GSL Education are looking for a dedicated and adaptable Teaching Assistant to provide day-to-day support across a welcoming and inclusive school in Armthorpe. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a varied environment and is eager to make a meaningful impact on the lives of children.

Responsibilities of a TA:

  • Provide tailored 1:1 or small group support for students.
  • Assist teachers in delivering engaging and accessible lessons.
  • Implement individual education plans (IEPs) and strategies designed for students.
  • Foster an inclusive and supportive classroom environment where every child can thrive.

To be successful as a TA, you should:

  • Previous experience working with children in an educational setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and adaptability when supporting diverse needs.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting student well-being.
  • Provide a full, up-to-date CV with explanations for any gaps in employment in the last 10 years.
