Pay Rate: Up to £200 per day (depending on experience)

GSL Education are currently seeking a committed Class Teacher to join schools in Sheffield. This is an excellent opportunity to deliver engaging lessons, support pupils’ academic and personal development, and create a positive, inclusive classroom environment.

Role Overview:
As a Class Teacher, you will plan and deliver high-quality lessons that meet the needs of all pupils. You will play a key role in fostering academic growth, social development, and confidence in your class while promoting a supportive and engaging learning environment.

As a Class Teacher, you will:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons tailored to pupils’ needs.
  • Promote a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment.
  • Monitor, assess, and provide feedback on pupil progress.
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and carers to support pupil development.
  • Uphold high standards of safeguarding and pupil welfare.

Requirements for Class Teacher:

  • UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching in a primary or KS1/KS2 classroom is desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of the national curriculum.
  • Excellent classroom management, communication, and organisational skills.
  • An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
  • A full CV covering the last 10 years, with explanations for any gaps.
