Salary: M1 to UPS3 per annum (Depending on Experience)

GSL Education are looking for committed SEN Teachers to join schools across Hull.
About the Role:
As an SEN Teacher, you will be responsible for planning, delivering, and adapting lessons to meet the diverse needs of pupils with SEND. Working closely with support staff and parents, you will create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment that nurtures pupils academically, socially, and emotionally.
Responsibilities of an SEN Teacher:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to individual learning needs.
- Support pupils with a range of SEND, including autism, ADHD, SEMH, and moderate learning difficulties.
- Adapt teaching strategies and resources to support accessibility and progression.
- Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and support staff.
- Track pupil progress and provide constructive feedback to pupils and parents.
- Promote a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment.
- Contribute to the development of personalised learning plans and EHCPs.
- Engage in whole-school activities and contribute to the wider school community.
SEN Teacher Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Previous experience teaching pupils with SEN needs.
- Strong knowledge of strategies for supporting pupils with a variety of learning needs.
- Excellent communication and behaviour management skills.
- Ability to inspire, motivate, and nurture young learners.
- A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach to teaching.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply via GSL Education.
