Location: Hull
Salary: M1 to UPS3 per annum (Depending on Experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-Day/ Long term, Full-time / Part-time
Are you a passionate and dedicated Maths Teacher seeking your next exciting opportunity?
GSL Education are looking for an enthusiastic and driven Maths Teacher to join schools in Hull and inspire students to develop a love for mathematics.
As a Maths Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and challenging lessons that support students across key stages. You will work closely with colleagues to ensure a stimulating learning environment that encourages progress and achievement.
Maths Teacher Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality Maths lessons according to the curriculum.
- Support and assess students to help them achieve their academic goals.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment.
- Manage behaviour effectively to ensure a safe and respectful learning space.
- Work collaboratively with other staff to enhance student learning.
Essential Requirements for Maths Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- A degree in Mathematics or a related field.
- Previous teaching experience in Maths at key stages.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Commitment to raising standards and inspiring young learners.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply via GSL Education.
