Job Title: SEN Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S10)
Pay Rate: £150 – £250 per day
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long-term | Full-time / Part-time

GSL Education are seeking an experienced SEN Teacher to join a supportive school in Sheffield (S10). This role provides the opportunity to deliver tailored lessons, support individual learning needs, and foster a positive, inclusive environment where all students can thrive.

As an SEN Teacher, you will:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons suited to students with additional needs.
  • Support pupils’ social, emotional, and academic development.
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
  • Track pupil progress, provide constructive feedback, and adapt teaching to meet individual needs.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, SENCOs, and parents to ensure holistic support.
  • Maintain high standards of behaviour management, safeguarding, and child welfare.

Requirements for SEN Teacher:

  • UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
  • Experience teaching students with SEN in school setting.
  • Strong knowledge of strategies to support students with learning differences.
  • Excellent classroom management, communication, and organisational skills.
  • An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
  • A full CV covering the last 10 years, with explanations for any gaps.
