Job Title: Cover Supervisor
Location: Barnsley
Payrate: £90 - £120 per day
Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long-term | Full-time / Part-time

Job Responsibilities:
• Supervise students during lessons when the regular teacher is absent.
• Ensure a safe, positive, and productive classroom environment.
• Follow lesson plans provided by the teacher and maintain learning continuity.
• Manage classroom behavior effectively and support students’ learning needs.
• Record attendance, report incidents, and communicate with teaching staff as needed.
• Assist with administrative tasks and support the wider school community.
Requirements:
• Previous experience working in a school environment preferred
• DBS on the Update Service required
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Reliable, adaptable, and confident in supervising students
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
