Pay Rate: £155 – £220 per day (depending on experience)

GSL Education are seeking a committed English Teacher to join a supportive school in Penistone (S36). This role provides the opportunity to deliver engaging lessons, foster critical thinking, and help students develop a love for reading, writing, and language.
As an English Teacher, you will:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality English lessons across the national curriculum.
- Inspire students to develop literacy, comprehension, and analytical skills.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and engagement.
- Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing constructive feedback and adapting lessons as needed.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the English curriculum and extracurricular opportunities.
- Maintain high standards of behaviour management, safeguarding, and pupil welfare.
Requirements for the role of English Teacher:
- UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
- Experience teaching English in a school setting.
- Strong subject knowledge and the ability to engage students across different abilities.
- Excellent classroom management, communication, and organisational skills.
- An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
- A full CV covering the last 10 years, with explanations for any gaps.
