Job Title: Geography Teacher
Location: Rotherham – S60
Pay Rate: £155 – £220 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long-term | Full-time / Part-time

Are you an enthusiastic Geography Teacher passionate about inspiring students to explore the world and develop critical thinking skills?

GSL Education are currently seeking a dedicated Geography Teacher to join a supportive school in Rotherham (S60). This role provides the opportunity to deliver engaging lessons, promote spatial awareness and environmental understanding, and foster a love of learning about the world.

As a Geography Teacher, you will:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality Geography lessons in line with the national curriculum.
  • Inspire students to explore physical, human, and environmental geography.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and engagement.
  • Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing constructive feedback and adapting lessons as needed.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the Geography curriculum and extracurricular opportunities.
  • Maintain high standards of behaviour management, safeguarding, and pupil welfare.

Requirements for the role of Geography Teacher:

  • UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
  • Experience teaching Geography in UK school setting.
  • Strong subject knowledge and the ability to engage students across different abilities.
  • Excellent classroom management, communication, and organisational skills.
  • An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
  • A full CV covering the last 10 years, with explanations for any gaps.
