Pay Rate: £155 – £220 per day (depending on experience)

Are you a passionate and knowledgeable Computer Science Teacher eager to inspire students in the exciting world of computing?
GSL Education are currently seeking a dedicated Computer Science Teacher to join a supportive school in Sheffield (S10). This role provides the opportunity to deliver engaging lessons, foster students’ technical skills, and encourage problem-solving, creativity, and logical thinking.
As a Computer Science Teacher, you will:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality Computer Science lessons across the curriculum.
- Inspire students to develop coding, computational thinking, and digital literacy skills.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes curiosity and engagement.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and adapting teaching strategies as required.
- Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to enhance learning experiences.
- Maintain high standards of behaviour management, safeguarding, and pupil welfare.
Requirements for the role of Computer Science Teacher:
- UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
- Proven experience teaching Computer Science in UK school setting.
- Strong subject knowledge, particularly in programming, algorithms, and ICT systems.
- Excellent classroom management, communication, and organisational skills.
- An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
- A full CV covering the last 10 years, with explanations for any gaps.
