Location: Sandwich, Kent
Salary: £120 - £250 per day
Start date: December 2025
Contract: Temporary, Full-time (Maternity Cover)

We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate KS2 Primary Teacher to join a supportive and high-achieving junior school in Sandwich. The selected candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons to a KS2 class, covering a maternity leave on a temporary contract. This role is open to both talented NQTs seeking their first position and experienced teachers looking to develop their skills in a fantastic setting.

As a Primary Teacher, you will be expected to:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver outstanding lessons to a KS2 class in line with the national curriculum.
- Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils.
- Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of pupils.
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively to create a safe and positive learning environment.
- Foster positive relationships with pupils, parents, colleagues, and the wider school community.
In order to be considered for this Primary Teacher role, the candidate must:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be an NQT awaiting induction.
- Have a strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum.
- Have the right to work in the UK.
- Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- Be a reflective practitioner, keen to develop their own practice.
