Pay Rate: £120 - £250 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: October 2025
Contract Type: Temporary, Part-Time (2.5 days per week)

A supportive primary school is seeking a dedicated Year 2 Primary Teacher to join their team in Kent on a temporary basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact on KS1 pupils while enjoying a flexible part-time schedule.

About the School: This school provides education for children aged 4 to 7, with a focus on creating a caring and supportive learning environment. The setting places emphasis on early learning foundations, personal development, and fostering positive relationships between staff, pupils, and families.

Responsibilities of a Primary Teacher:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, creative lessons tailored to Year 2 learners.
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and positive classroom environment.
  • Assess, monitor, and record pupil progress to ensure strong academic development.
  • Support children’s social and emotional growth alongside their learning.
  • Work collaboratively with staff, parents, and carers to enhance pupil outcomes.

To be successful as a Primary Teacher, you should:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching KS1, ideally Year 2.
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
  • Adaptability to deliver high-quality learning in a temporary, part-time role.
  • A passion for fostering children’s confidence, resilience, and love of learning.
  • Provide a full, up-to-date CV with explanations for any gaps in employment in the last 10 years.
