Salary: £160 - £250 per day (Depending on experience)
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

About the Role:
As a SEMH Teacher, you’ll play a vital role in delivering personalised and therapeutic educational experiences. You’ll work closely with a team of professionals to support students with SEMH needs, helping them build confidence, resilience, and academic success in a nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities of SEMH Teacher:
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to students with SEMH needs.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment that promotes emotional well-being.
- Develop and implement Individual Behaviour and Education Plans (IBEPs), tracking progress and adapting strategies as needed.
- Collaborate with SENCOs, teaching assistants, parents, and external agencies to provide holistic support.
- Promote positive behaviour strategies and restorative practices.
- Encourage student participation, independence, and a love for learning.
Requirements of SEMH Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Proven experience working with students with SEMH needs is essential.
- Strong behaviour management skills and a calm, empathetic approach.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to inclusive education and safeguarding.
- Additional training in de-escalation or trauma-informed practices (desirable but not essential).
