Job Title: English Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S5)
Salary Range: £155 to £220 per day (Depending on Experience)
Start Date: September 2025
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

Role Overview:

As an English Teacher, you will deliver engaging and well-structured lessons across all Key Stages, fostering students' reading, writing, and analytical skills. You’ll play a vital role in helping learners gain confidence in their communication and comprehension, preparing them for success in exams and beyond.

Responsibilities as a English Teacher:

  • Plan and deliver creative and effective English lessons that meet national curriculum standards.
  • Inspire students to appreciate literature and express themselves confidently
  • Differentiate lessons to meet diverse learning needs.
  • Assess progress, provide constructive feedback, and support student achievement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to promote a positive learning culture.
  • Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management.

Requirements for English Teacher:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
  • Experience teaching English at key stages.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for English literature and language.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
  • A CV covering the last 10 years with any gaps clearly explained.
