Position: Year 1 Class Teacher
Location: East Tilbury
Salary: £125 - £240 per day (£24,375 - £46,800), depending on experience and qualifications!
Contract Type: Full-time (part-time available)
Start Date: September 2025 (or earlier if available)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver High-Quality Lessons: Plan and teach engaging lessons that align with the KS1 curriculum and inspire a love of learning as a Year 1 Class Teacher.
  • Meet Diverse Needs: As a Year 1 Class Teacher, differentiate instruction to support and challenge all pupils, ensuring inclusive and effective learning.
  • Create a Positive Environment: Establish a safe, respectful, and stimulating classroom culture where students feel valued as a Year 1 Class Teacher.
  • Track and Support Progress: Use assessments to monitor student development, provide feedback, and inform future planning.
  • Collaborate with Staff: As a Year 1 Class Teacher, work closely with colleagues to share ideas, plan cross-curricular activities, and contribute to school-wide initiatives.
  • Build Strong Partnerships: Communicate effectively with parents and carers to support student learning and well-being.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching in KS1.
  • Solid understanding of the KS1 curriculum and assessment practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • A creative and reflective approach to teaching.
  • A collaborative mindset and commitment to continuous improvement.
