Daily Rate: £70 – £90

The school setting is based in Durham and is easy to access by Car and Public transport.
Current vacancies are looking for candidates to work full-time (i.e. Monday to Friday) in the Secondary provision.
Applicants are expected to have experience in both Mainstream as well as SEN support within the school premises. If selected, they must operate under the direction of the class teacher, where they are expected to support small groups of students to lead interventions and educational activities. Moreover, they must liaise with other staff members and outside agencies to ensure individual pupils needs and EHCP outcomes are met.
Candidates who can drive will be given greater priority.
- English language reading and comprehension to GCSE standard
- Numeracy skills to GCSE standard
- A good understanding of the UK National Curriculum
- Transferable skills of working with adults or children that need emotional support
- Challenging Behaviour Settings
- Health and Social Care Settings
- 1:1 Support (if needed)
- SEN experienced
- Enhanced DBS on the updated service – or be willing to apply for one immediately
