Job Title: Sports Coach / Learning Support

Salary: £460 – £650 per week

These roles sit within education environments where the emphasis is on classroom support, behaviour guidance, cover supervision, and helping pupils stay engaged and focused throughout the school day.

About the Role:
This position is centred around school-based support rather than sports delivery. You will work alongside teaching staff to support learning, supervise classes when required, and help maintain focus and positive behaviour in the classroom. Your sporting background will be valuable in building rapport, encouraging participation, and managing behaviour, but the core of the role is focused on learning support rather than physical activity.
Key Responsibilities:

Support teaching staff with classroom-based learning activities

Act as cover support when required across a range of subjects

Use coaching skills to encourage positive behaviour and engagement

Help students remain focused, regulated, and on task throughout lessons

Contribute to a calm, structured, and productive learning environment

Provide feedback to staff regarding student progress and behaviour
Requirements:

Background in sports coaching, fitness, youth work, or similar people-focused roles

Confidence working with young people in a school environment

Strong communication skills and effective behaviour management approach

Professional, reliable, and adaptable attitude

Genuine interest in supporting education rather than delivering sport
