Job Title: PE Teacher

Salary: Up to £220 per day (depending on experience)

GSL Education are seeking motivated and enthusiastic PE Teachers to work in schools across Sheffield.
As a PE Teacher, you will inspire students to develop their physical abilities, resilience, and enjoyment of sport. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator to deliver engaging lessons that encourage participation, build confidence, and support students' overall wellbeing both inside and outside the classroom.
PE Teacher Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver high-quality Physical Education lessons in line with the national curriculum

Teach a range of sports and physical activities across Key Stages 3, 4 & 5

Encourage student participation, teamwork, and positive attitudes towards physical fitness

Assess, monitor, and track student progress, providing constructive feedback

Adapt activities and lessons to meet the needs of all learners

Promote high standards of behaviour and sportsmanship

Organise and support extracurricular sports activities where required

Contribute to departmental planning and the wider school community
Requirements of a PE Teacher:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
-
A degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, or a related subject

Experience teaching PE in a school setting is desirable

Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
-
Excellent communication and organisational abilities
-
A positive, enthusiastic, and professional approach to teaching

An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
