Job Title: Geography Teacher
Location: Doncaster (DN2, DN6)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time
Help students explore the world and develop an understanding of physical landscapes, human environments, and global issues through engaging lessons!
GSL Education are searching for a passionate Geography Teacher to join schools in Doncaster, covering the DN2 and DN6 areas. The Geography Teacher will deliver lessons that promote enquiry, map skills, and awareness of local and global environmental issues.
Key Duties of Geography Teacher:
- Plan and deliver high-quality geography lessons in line with the curriculum.
- Support students in developing research, analytical, and fieldwork skills.
- Encourage discussion on sustainability, development, and global change.
- Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
Essential Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching geography in a school setting.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
