Job Title: Learning Support Assistant (LSA) – Secondary Focus
Location: Sheffield
Salary: £460–£600 per week
Contract Type: Full-time / Part-time, Long-term / Day-to-day
Start Date: Immediately
Do you enjoy helping secondary students succeed both academically and personally? A Sheffield school is seeking a proactive Learning Support Assistant to provide targeted guidance and support across lessons.

About the Role:
You will support teachers by providing one-to-one or small group support, help implement personalised learning strategies, and encourage positive engagement in lessons.
Responsibilities:
- Support secondary students in lessons and learning activities
- Provide targeted one-to-one or small group assistance
- Encourage student engagement and independence
- Help maintain classroom organisation and resources
- Monitor and report on student progress
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a school or classroom desirable
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patient, adaptable, and proactive
- Ability to work collaboratively within a teaching team

- Have the right to work in the UK
- Hold an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from the last 2 years
- Have a DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education
