Job Title: Maths Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S35)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time
Help students develop confidence, problem-solving skills, and a strong understanding of mathematical concepts!
GSL Education are hiring a passionate Maths Teacher to join a school in Sheffield (S35), delivering engaging lessons that inspire logical thinking and numeracy skills.
As Mathematics Teacher, you will plan and deliver structured Maths lessons, supporting pupils in developing analytical thinking, accuracy, and confidence while fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Responsibilities of Maths Teacher:
- Deliver well-planned Maths lessons in line with the curriculum
- Support pupils in problem-solving, reasoning, and numerical skills
- Encourage independent learning and practical application of mathematical concepts
- Maintain positive classroom behaviour and a focused learning environment
- Assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback
What we are looking for:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
- Experience teaching Mathematics in a school setting
- Strong subject knowledge and classroom management skills
- Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
