Job Title: MFL Teacher
Location: Barnsley (S70 & S71)
Pay Rate: Up to £200 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: January 2026
Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long-term | Full-time / Part-time

Are you a passionate and dedicated MFL Teacher looking to inspire pupils in the S70 & S71 areas of Barnsley?

GSL Education are seeking experienced Modern Foreign Languages Teachers to work in schools across Barnsley (S70 & S71). This is an excellent opportunity to promote language learning, cultural awareness, and communication skills.

As an MFL Teacher, you will:

  • Plan and deliver engaging MFL lessons in line with the national curriculum.
  • Teach one or more languages such as French, Spanish, or German.
  • Develop pupils’ speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills.
  • Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to maintain high standards of teaching and learning.
  • Uphold safeguarding and school policies at all times.

Requirements for the role:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised qualification.
  • Experience teaching MFL at school level.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • A passion for inspiring and motivating young learners.
  • An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
