Job Title: MFL Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S2, S3)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: January 2026
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are seeking an enthusiastic MFL Teacher to work within secondary schools across the S2 and S3 postcodes. This role suits someone who can deliver engaging language lessons and support pupils in gaining confidence with speaking, reading, and writing.
As an MFL Teacher, you will provide well-structured lessons, introduce students to different cultures, and play a key role in promoting language learning across the school. You will work alongside colleagues to ensure the curriculum is delivered effectively and consistently.
Prime Responsibilities:
- Teach modern foreign languages (MFL) across Key Stages with clear, well-planned lessons.
- Support students in developing strong linguistic understanding and practical communication skills.
- Provide meaningful feedback to help pupils improve their language proficiency.
- Maintain a focused and respectful learning environment through effective behaviour management.
- Take part in departmental planning and contribute to curriculum development.
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate assessment records.
Requirements for MFL Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a relevant teaching qualification.
- Strong subject knowledge and confidence delivering as an MFL Teacher.
- Excellent organisational and communication abilities.
- A commitment to supporting learners of all abilities.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
- A professional and proactive approach to safeguarding and school standards.
