Job Title: QTS Secondary teacher
Location: Staffordshire - WS7
Pay rate: £110 to £160 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time
GSL Education are inviting Secondary Teachers, whether experienced or newly qualified, to join a supportive school community in Staffordshire (WS7). This role offers the chance to inspire young learners and help them achieve their full potential.
In this role, you will play a key role in guiding students through the curriculum, building their confidence and encouraging independence. This position is a great opportunity for someone who wants to make a real difference as a Secondary teacher.
Responsibilities of the Secondary Teacher:
- Deliver lessons that are engaging and suitable for secondary school pupils.
- Support students in developing strong subject knowledge and essential skills.
- Use assessment effectively to track progress and support learning needs.
- Provide clear instructions and maintain a productive learning atmosphere.
- Encourage positive behaviour and establish strong routines.
- Work closely with school staff and contribute to school activities.
- Use your experience and skills as a Secondary teacher to help young people succeed.
Requirements of the Secondary Teacher:
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) is essential for this role.
- Strong classroom communication skills.
- Ability to adapt teaching approaches to meet the needs of all learners.
- A professional and dedicated attitude to teaching.
- Good organisational skills and lesson planning ability.
- A passion for teaching and making an impact.
- Enhanced DBS on the update service or a willingness to apply.
