Are you a caring, energetic and dedicated Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding 1:1 role? Do you love supporting young learners in their early years and helping them grow in confidence? This wonderful primary school in Harlow is looking for a KS1 Teaching Assistant to join their team from January on a long-term, full-time basis.

About the Role

You will be working 1:1 with a KS1 child, supporting their learning, emotional development and daily classroom activities. The school is warm, friendly and committed to ensuring every child feels supported, valued and understood.

 Your Responsibilities

  • Provide 1:1 support for a KS1 child, helping them engage, participate and progress

  • Assist with classroom activities, small tasks and tailored learning

  • Encourage confidence, independence and positive behaviour

  • Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to follow support plans

  • Help create a fun, nurturing and structured learning environment

  • Offer patience, reassurance and a consistent, caring presence each day
