Your Role as a Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant
In this rewarding post, you will support pupils who display challenging behaviour, helping them build essential skills for learning and life. As a Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities will include:

Providing 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with SEMH or behaviour-related needs.

Helping students regulate emotions and develop resilience.

Supporting teaching staff by implementing behaviour strategies consistently.

Encouraging positive choices and building trusting relationships.

Contributing to a safe, structured, and nurturing learning environment.

What You Bring
To succeed as a Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant, you should have:

Experience supporting pupils with SEMH, challenging behaviour or SEN (desirable).

Strong communication, patience and emotional resilience.

Ability to remain calm, consistent and supportive under pressure.

A passion for helping young learners make positive improvements.

An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply).
