Location: Tower Hamlets
Salary: £185 - £265 per day
Start Date: January 2026
Contract: Long Term until August 2026

GSL Education London Branch are looking for a passionate and energetic PE Teacher to join a vibrant and inclusive comprehensive secondary school and sixth form in Tower Hamlets. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated PE Teacher to make a real difference, promoting fitness, teamwork, and a love for sports among students.

Responsibilities of the PE Teacher:

Plan, prepare and deliver engaging PE lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.

Promote physical activity, teamwork, and healthy lifestyles through creative and inclusive teaching.

Organise and supervise extracurricular sports clubs, competitions, and school events.

Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and encouragement.

Maintain a positive and safe learning environment for all students.

Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop the PE curriculum and enhance learning experiences.
Requirements for the PE Teacher:

Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.

Proven experience teaching PE within a secondary school or sixth form setting.

Strong knowledge of the UK PE curriculum and assessment methods.

Excellent classroom management and communication skills.

A genuine passion for inspiring young people through sport and fitness.
