Job Title: History Teacher
Location: Sheffield
Payrate: £155 - £220 per day
Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long-term | Full-time / Part-time

GSL Education is seeking an enthusiastic History Teacher to work in Secondary Schools across Sheffield. This is an excellent opportunity to inspire curiosity, encourage debate, and develop students’ analytical and critical thinking skills.
Job Responsibilities:
• Plan and deliver engaging History lessons across KS3–KS5.
• Foster a classroom environment that promotes discussion and independent thinking.
• Support students in understanding historical perspectives and context.
• Assess progress and provide constructive feedback to drive improvement.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the Humanities curriculum and student engagement.
Requirements:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or PGCE in History or a related field.
• Experience teaching History in Secondary Schools preferred.
• Early Career Teachers are welcome to apply.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
