GSL Education uses its years of experience in education recruitment to provide targeted intervention and retake support for English and maths at GCSE level, making our resources and knowledge available in a cost-effective way that supports schools and addresses their students’ needs.
We have a track record of running successful intervention programs in East and North London schools and we’re now offering this service to a wider area. Through these programmes and our work at the Keen Students' School in Tower Hamlets, we have gained knowledge of what works for children who are falling behind. Over our years of successfully recruiting staff for London schools, we have built up a pool of experienced teachers and proven resource materials to draw upon.
We want to meet the need for quality intervention by focusing on the core subjects of maths and English at GCSE level. GSL’s approach is flexible; adapting and making our resources and experience available and affordable to schools. We can supply the teachers, tutors and resources to run tutorial sessions with students during core time or after school.
For students who are unable to reach a grade C or higher on their first take, we can provide tutorial sessions on a minimum 1:5, tutor to student ratio, in order to address each student’s shortfall son an individual basis. The aim is to prepare them to retake their exams in a way that makes them feel confident about the subject and their abilities, ultimately enabling them to improve their grade.
We're happy to discuss options and visit schools to learn more about your particular needs. That way we can find out whether we can help your students reach the grades they're capable of. Please contact us for a copy of our proposal or to set up a meeting with one of our consultants.
