The School
-A mixed comprehensive Special Needs school based in Lewisham are seeking two qualified Primary teachers who have experience teaching SEN students
-The school caters for students aged 4- 16 with various health, learning and physical disabilities
-The school has good resources and facilities and the primary department has of four classes with pupils being grouped by age and each class has several learning support assistants
The Candidate
All applying candidates must be qualified to teach at Primary level. The two vacancies are as follows for a September 2010 start:
-One position is a Maternity Cover, job share position so you will be covering a variety of classes in Year 1 and 2.
- The other is a long term position, responsible for a specific class Years 4,5 and 6.
All applying candidates must have:
- Relevant teaching qualification for UK schools eg PGCE, BEd or GTP
- Excellent knowledge of the UK curriculum
- Good behavioural classroom strategies
- Experience working with SEN students with varying emotional, behavioural. learning and physical difficulties
- UK Qualified Teacher Status
