GSL Education are currently seeking an experienced Exams, Data and Assessment Officer to undertake a position starting immediately at one of our innovative secondary schools in East London. 

The role is at a co-educational community school with its own sixth form where employees are valued and developed. It is a high achieving and thriving school with excellent examination results and also has excellent facilities and teaching spaces.

The school is based in the borough of Hackney and has great transport connections. In 2017 the school was graded Good by OFSTED.

The main responsibilities of the role include:

•    Being responsible for the smooth, efficient and compliant running of all aspects of data and exams.
•    Supporting the school’s Data Manager to provide a data management and Information service to the school and its stakeholders.
•    Proactively managing the SIMS ‘Exams Organiser’ program.
•    Liaising with Heads of Faculties and other stakeholders to ensure that students are entered into correct examinations in a timely manner.
•    Maintaining and being responsible for accurate records of all exam related data.
•    Ensuring the school has up to date exams policies and procedures.

The successful applicant should:

•    Have previous experience in a similar role
•    Have good time management skills
•    Have a high level of competency with Microsoft Excel 
•    Have a high level of competency in Windows file management techniques.
•    Have excellent written and spoken communication skills 
•    Have proven ability to prioritise conflicting tasks (Good time management).

The languages department are looking for a dynamic teacher for a full-time timetable from Easter until July with the view of appointing a permanent teacher from September 2018.

The role is at a large academy located in the South East London area. The school offers onsite car parking and is situated with a ten minute walk from the local London Overground station.

As such, we are looking for a MFL teacher who can teacher French and Spanish to GCSE, someone dynamic in the classroom with the ability to differentiate the learning material to a range of ability levels.

GSL education are currently seeking to appoint an outstanding Maths teacher to work within the growing Mathematics department. The role is a permanent contract commencing on September 2018.

The role is at a comprehensive secondary school located in Slough. The school is mixed gender, graded ‘Good’ by OFSTED in 2017. The school has onsite car parking and is also situated near to Slough train station.

As such, we are looking for a teacher of Maths who has the vision of achieving excellence and raising further the standards of teaching and learning.

The school offers a range of CPD opportunities to support the successful applicant. The school is also committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students. All applicants will be subject to rigorous safer recruitment procedures and must be prepared to undergo strict child protection screening including checks with past employers and DBS check.

- Be an enthusiastic, highly motivated individual who leads by example.
