Salary: £88.94 - £104.84 per day (Depending on Experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/ Long Term, Full time / Part time

GSL Education are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to provide support across EYFS – KS2 in schools throughout Scunthorpe.
In this role, you will be supporting pupils with their learning and development, both in the classroom and in small group or one-to-one settings. You will work alongside teachers to create a positive, inclusive learning environment that helps children achieve their potential.
As a Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities will be:
- Support pupils’ learning across EYFS – KS2.
- Assist with planning and delivering engaging classroom activities.
- Provide one-to-one and small group support where needed.
- Encourage positive behaviour and participation in lessons.
- Help prepare learning resources and maintain a stimulating environment.
- Promote pupils’ academic, social, and emotional progress.
Skills & Requirements for Teaching Assistant:
- Experience working with children in EYFS – KS2.
- CACHE Level 2/3, NVQ Level 2/3 in Childcare or Teaching Assistance, or equivalent qualification (desirable).
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- A proactive and flexible attitude to supporting learning.
- A genuine passion for education and child development.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply via GSL Education.
