Salary: £88.94 - £104.84 per day (Depending on Experience)

GSL Education are currently seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join schools in Scunthorpe, offering a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in children’s education.
As a Teaching Assistant (TA), you will be working closely with teachers to provide classroom support, assist in lesson delivery, and help pupils with their learning and development. This role offers the chance to support children of varying abilities, ensuring they reach their full potential in a safe and engaging environment.
Teaching Assistant Responsibilities:
- Support teaching and learning across EYFS – KS2.
- Provide 1:1 or small group support where required.
- Assist with preparing classroom resources and activities.
- Encourage pupil engagement and positive behaviour in the classroom.
- Work alongside teachers to monitor progress and provide feedback.
- Help to create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
- Contribute to pupils’ social, emotional, and academic development.
Requirements for Teaching Assistant (TA):
- Experience working with children within EYFS – KS2.
- CACHE Level 2/3, NVQ Level 2/3 in Childcare or Teaching Assistance, or equivalent qualification is desirable.
- Ability to adapt to different classroom settings and support learning effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their progress.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply via GSL Education.
