Learning Support Assistant – Barking and Dagenham
Salary: £88 – £110 per day (dependent on experience)
Contract: Full-time | Monday – Friday, 8.30am – 4.00pm
GSL Education is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join a welcoming special school in Barking and Dagenham. This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday, where you will be supporting pupils with a range of special educational needs, helping them to access learning and achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with additional learning needs.

Assist teachers in delivering tailored and engaging lessons.

Encourage pupils’ social, emotional, and academic development.

Help maintain a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment.
Requirements:

Previous experience supporting SEN pupils is desirable.
-
Patience, resilience, and strong interpersonal skills.
-
A proactive and compassionate approach to working with children.

Availability to work Monday–Friday, 8.30am–4pm.
