Geography Teacher
Location: Maltby
Salary: £140–£190 per day (Depending on Experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long Term, Full-time/Part-time

GSL Education are seeking a dedicated Geography Teacher to work with pupils in schools across Maltby. This role is ideal for someone who can deliver engaging lessons, support pupils’ learning, and help them achieve their academic potential.
As a Geography Teacher, you will plan, deliver, and assess lessons according to the curriculum. You will engage pupils in learning about physical and human geography, map skills, environmental issues, and global awareness. The role will involve supporting pupils’ progress, monitoring understanding, and fostering curiosity and independent thinking.
Responsibilities of a Geography Teacher:
- Plan and deliver high-quality Geography lessons.
- Provide one-to-one or small group support where required.
- Prepare and organise resources to enhance learning.
- Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to pupils and staff.
- Encourage critical thinking, curiosity, and engagement in Geography.
- Support pupils’ social, emotional, and behavioural development.
- Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and support staff.
- Participate in school trips and extracurricular activities related to Geography.
Teacher of Geography Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching Geography in schools.
- Strong subject knowledge and passion for Geography.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Understanding of safeguarding and child protection policies.
- Have an up-to-date CV (covering the last ten years, barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one)
