Pay Rate: £155 – £220 per day
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long-term | Full-time / Part-time
Are you an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Geography Teacher passionate about inspiring students to explore the world around them?
GSL Education are seeking a dedicated Geography Teacher to join a school in the Penistone (S36) area. This is an exciting opportunity to deliver engaging lessons, encourage critical thinking, and help students develop a deep understanding of physical and human geography.
As a Geography Teacher, you will:
- Plan and deliver lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Inspire students to explore geographical concepts, current issues, and real-world applications.
- Create an inclusive and stimulating classroom environment where every student can thrive.
- Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback to support learning.
- Contribute to extracurricular activities such as field trips, geography clubs, or sustainability projects.
- Maintain high standards of behaviour management and safeguarding.
Requirements for Geography Teacher:
- UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Geography.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- Ability to engage and motivate students across different abilities.
- An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
- A full CV covering the last 10 years of employment history, with any gaps explained.
